Pass By: Gordon's Bay Main Beach, 4th Street, Gordon's Bay 7140 South Africa

Gordon's Bay is a harbour town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, close to Strand. It is situated on the northeastern corner of False Bay about 50 km from Cape Town to the south of the N2 national road and is named after Robert Jacob Gordon, the Dutch explorer of Scottish descent.

Pass By: Pringle Bay Beach, Pringle Bay, Overstrand South Africa

Pringle Bay is a small coastal town of ca. 1600 inhabitants in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, in South Africa. It is situated at the foot of Hangklip, on the opposite side of False Bay from Cape Point. The town and surrounds are part of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO Heritage Site.

Pass By: Betty's Bay Main Beach, 3780 Nerine Cres, Betty's Bay 7141 South Africa

Betty's Bay is a small holiday town situated on the Overberg coast of South Africa's Western Cape province. It is located 100 km from Cape Town beneath the Kogelberg Mountains on the scenic R44 ocean drive between Pringle Bay and Kleinmond. This village stretches over 13 km along the coast.

Stop At: Hermanus Cliff Path, Westcliff Rd, Hermanus, Overstrand 7200 South Africa

Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. The whales can be seen from the cliffs in the town centre as early as June and usually depart in early-December.

The best place to see these creatures is along the famous Whale Route, which spans along the coastline passing Gordon’s Bay, Pringle Bay and Betty’s Bay en route to Hermanus.

During our drive to Hermanus we will drive through, Gordon's Bay, Pringle Bay and Betty's Bay. This will take approximately 2h30 min.

Once at Hermanus we have the option of watching the Southern Whale from the cliff tops or the option of a boat based whale watching trip (entrance fees at your own expense price range from R800 - R1200). They will take us closer to the whales then you ever dreamed of. You may spot other wildlife such as dolphins, seals and otters as well. The duration of the tour on the boat trip is about 2h30 min approximately.
