With the Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof and Franschhoek mountains as backdrop, Babylonstoren's garden is majestic. Dating back to 1692, the fortunes of this historic fruit and wine farm took a turn ten years ago when it fell under the gaze of former magazine editor Karen Roos. Her passion for historic Cape Dutch style led to an authentic yet contemporary restoration that projects the farm into the future.
We will enjoy a leisurely walk through this magnificent garden with it's more than 300 plants of which most are edible or have medicinal value.

We visit Marianne a boutique wine estate located in the Simonsberg valley for a unique Wine tasting and Biltong Pairing experience.
Manual harvesting, selection of the best grapes, French oak and Acacia barrel ageing, combined with a French "savoir-faire" from South-African winemaker Jos Van Wyk, will lead you to explore some of the finest wines produced in the region.

Kanonkop Estate is situated on the lower slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain in the Stellenbosch Region of the Cape and confidently boasts with some of South Africa’s most premium wines.
We stop for a memorable Wine Tasting at this estate.

The vineyards of Hidden Valley are situated on the northern slopes of the Helderberg Mountains in Stellenbosch, planted on ancient, decomposed granite soils, consisting of deep fertile Oakleaf and Tukulu profiles. This wonderful soil (and the fact that they are 269m above sea level) together with the cool sea breeze result in a very unique and extremely sought after terroir.
We combine a Wine Tasting with a lunch at the renowned Overture Restaurant or a more relaxed dining experience at The Deck self-service eatery.
