We start in the historical town of Stellenbosch is our first stop as we delve into the culture rich, foodie haven and vibrant streets.

A cup of perfectly brewed local coffee will kick start your day, coupled with something sweet or savory before we head for the mountains.

The top of Helshoogte mountain pass brings us to our first winery. Famous for it's iconic blends and olive groves, this is an honest but superlative first tasting. Be sure to try the specialty brandy too! The tasting room provides both a cool and warm atmosphere depending on the season. On a clear day you have unrivaled views over False Bay to Table Mountain.

As we head down into the famous Franschhoek Wine Valley we're greeted by one of the regions most impressive estates. A range of award winning wines and Méthode Cap Classiques form just a small part of what's on offer. The local farm deli has an array of South African delicacies; preserves, biltong, fresh artisan breads and creative jams.

The next destination is something to behold as we head east toward Paarl. Set in a working garden fit for a royal, we enter into one of the cape's most innovative tasting rooms. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls offer breathtaking views over the vineyards. A range of tantalizing snack platters with charcuterie, cheese, pâté and fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden are on offer. Oh yes! And the wine isn't bad neither. A well-rounded range exclusively available on the estate and nowhere else in the world!

We're not quite ready to say our goodbye's just yet so we've given you the option to continue to have a great time! The La Grapperia is renowned for its wide selection of wood-fired pizzas, flammkuchen, signature tapas and specialty gin cocktails.
