Day 2: Brecon Mountain Railway

Stop At: Brecon Mountain Railway, Pontsticill Rd, Merthyr Tydfil, Pant CF48 2DD, UK
Embark today on the Brecon Mountain Railway - a narrow gauge train that runs through the Brecon Beacons and along the length of the Pontsticill Reservoir. Enjoy beautiful walks around the waterfalls here before spending the rest of the day exploring the National Park.

Day 3: Bala Lake Railway

Day 4: Ffestiniog Railway

Your train for today is the Ffestiniog Railway which takes a much gentler pace through this beautiful area of Wales.

Day 5: Snowdon Mountain Railway

Travel south on your journey today, discovering the magical mid-Wales. But, before you leave you will climb onto the Snowdon Mountain Railway which will take you to the peak of the highest mountain in England and Wales - Snowdon. Of course, the views are phenomenal from here - you won't want to come down!

Day 6: Vale of Rheidol Railway

The Vale of Rheidol Railway offers 12-miles of breath-taking scenery as you wind your way up the edge of the valley to the mythical Devil's Bridge - said to be the last place in Wales the Devil ever visited. Take a stroll around these beautiful waterfalls before you continue your journey south to the capital city of Cardiff.
