This excursion on the nearby island of Baru is a paradise for nature and animal lovers; a place where you can get up close and personal with many different species of birds, some of which will fly right over to greet you! Take part in a truly unique experience as you walk amongst flamingos and toucans, and take comfort in the fact that you are helping with the preservation of these beautiful creatures, as many are endangered species. 

We will pick you up from your hotel and transport you from the urban chaos of Cartagena to the lush green wilderness of Baru, where you will have the option afterwards of going to Playa Blanca, Cartagena´s most famous white-sand beach, where you can contemplate nature in a very different way, with a Piña Colada in your hand.

Pick up from your hotel around 8 am - Entrance to the National Park - Lunch at 12 pm - Transport to Playa Blanca - Drop off to your hotel around 3 pm
