Just enough to get a taste of the old city. Excellent value for the money and less that seberal similar options from the cruise ship.

Mr. Garcia, called us as soon as we reached the Cartagena port. The car with driver and guide was waiting for us. Julio, the guide was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He showed us everything on list in detail and drop us back to ship before time. Cartagena is beautiful old town.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Cartagena. I originally expected some sort of run down city in a drug lord controlled country. It was very pretty with some friendly people. Benny was our tour guy and wanted to tell us all about Columbia and Cartagena. Benny gave us the history, told us about the people and customs. We visited the monastery on the top of the hilltop. Absolutely great view of the City! we visited outside of large fort for photo stop. then on to Emerald shop and Artesian craft area. Then we walked old city area where Benny gave us facts about buildings and churches as well as architecture. We visited another emerald shop where Benny helped my wife get a better deal. Finally we drove through New city as Benny pointed out facts about area.Benny was excellent and gave us tips on best places for shopping for various items.

The operator did a terrific job of scheduling, confirming and meeting us at our cruise ship. Benny guided us throughout our tour of Cartagena and did a good job of describing all that we saw. He brought us to the old town section and allowed us thirty minutes to wander on our own which we appreciated. We liked it so much that we asked to return to the old town section at the end of our tour instead of returning to the ship which they were happy to do. I'd certainly recommend this tour to others.
