I absolutely loved this. We were picked up at out hotel and taken by private transport to the ranch. We got to see the stable and watched demonstrations of the different styles of paso finos and the beautiful footwork of the stallion. One of the mares had a week old foal that we got to meet. We were provided a cooler that had a variety of free drinks. After seeing the different horses, we were taken to the beach where we got to lounge and have a free drink at the nicest hostel I have ever been to. The lemonade de coco is amazing g and I also had an iced coconut coffee drink. The horses arrived and we were introduced to our horses. My husband does not ride much and was given a very nice, calm gelding that was perfect for scared/inexperienced riders. Ii am more familiar with riding paso finos so I was given a nice mare that had a smooth gait and nice pacing. Luis the owner stayed with my husband and gave him tips on riding while I was allowed to race back and forth up the beach. My horse was so responsive and a blast to ride. We then took the horses into the water and were able to get wet while riding in the crashing waves. After we finished riding we had a lovely lunch at the hostel that consisted or rice with shrimp, shrimp ceviche, and barbecued chicken. We didn't take our bathing suits but you should so you can take advantage of the nice pool at the hostel. Cannot recommend this enough - best horseback riding experience I have had and I have rode many places around the world.
