It funcioned as holy tribunal of the inquisition.
After entering the main courtyard and admirin archituectal richness of ist interior, you can start on the ground floor by the Halls of InquisitionHuman Rights and Coexistence, recently renovated spaces to give visitors a more updated view on the presence of the Court of the Holy Office in Cartagena de Indias, open to show who were those "Other" persecuted. Witches, Judaizers, applicants and, finally, heretics, who in the current light of Human Rights, allow us to know them better and generate actions of healthy coexistence at present.
