THE TRAVEL

First of all, our guide will pick you up at the hotel at 9:00 am. The guide will be at your disposal each minute during the journy. From the hotel we will head to the the port to start the trip. While leaving the Cartagena bay we can observe the Tierra Bomba island, at your right, where the historical towns on Tierra Bomba, Punta Arena, Caño de Loro and Bocachica settled; at your left, you will see the Industrial zone of Cartagena. We will stop at the afore mentioned forts of San Fernando and San José, at the entrance of Cartagena bay. (this activity can be done on return).

We will travel along the 27 islands that make The Corales de Rosario National Park, which contains a valuable ecosystem set of high productivity and biodiversity that form the most extense coral platform of Colombia on the continental part in the Caribean sea. There you will find the country most important continental reef formations, unique samples of coastal mangrove forests, extensive seagrass that skirt the islands, diversity of invertebrates and multicolored reef fish.

After touring the islands we will disembark on a beach, you will have the option of snorkelling for 25 minutes in a shalow coral zone, you will be impressed with the magic of those underwater landscapes. Upon arrival you receive snacks and a tasting of fresh seafood cooked with récipes typical of the region. You can buy a delicious lunch prepared with fresh fish (there are several options of restaurants depending on your taste and budget).

Also you will give a stroll by the island of Barú, get to know the magic of the cienega de Cholón, can swim, snorkeling, enjoy the Sun and eat fresh food.

We end the tour at 3:30 pm approximately, taking you back to the hotel.

After you make the purchase we will send you by email all the contact information to coordinate the logistics of collecting.
Children must be accompanied by a responsable adult.
Do not collect or buy biological material such as snail shells, starfish or coral fragments. This is prohibited.
If you need to cancel the reservation, it is necessary to inform us at least 24 hours in advance thus we will refund the money in full.
It is necessary that all the boats return at 4pm (16:00). If the weather conditions are bad, it is recommended to return earlier.
Please follow the comments of the guide with respect to the conservation of the environment. This is a commitment of all.
The mínimum age to consume alcoholic beverage is 18 years. And it is not recommended for travelers with health problems and pregnant women.
The price of the tour is for all travelers, the boat has a capacity of up to 8 people.
The tour is subject to weather and observations of marine entitities. In case that the tour is cancelled due to either one of these reasons, we will give you the option to travel on another date or return the money.
