Stop At: Marrakech Desert 4x4 - Day Tours, Merzouga 52202 Morocco
Day 1: Marrakech
We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the riad. Night in the riad.
Day 2: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate:
After breakfast, we start the route to Ouarzazate from Marrakech through the High Atlas, the great mountain range of Morocco, with incredible views from the heights of Tizi-n-Tichka. The first stop will be for the splendid Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The second will be in the kasbah of Taourirt.
Dinner, and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 3: Ouarzazate - Agdez - Alnif - Merzouga
After breakfast, we will head to the desert of Merzouga, not without first enjoying the landscapes that we will find on our way, such as the great palm grove of the Draa Valley, the largest date palm producing center of the country. In the afternoon we will arrive at our charming place.
Dinner, and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga desert, a tour around the dunes
After breakfast, we leave the hotel to visit an oasis of Merzouga. Next, we follow the route to the village of Khamlia, known for its inhabitant's descendants of African slaves and their music, originally from Sudan. Here you can listen to their African music. Later to Rissani, famous for its market and its donkey parking. In the afternoon, return to Merzouga where the desert boats (camels) await us to cross the sea of dunes of Erg Chebbi to spend a magical night in the desert. Dinner and night in the traditional camp.
Day 5: Merzouga - ERFOUD - Gorges of Todra - Gorges of Dades.
After breakfast, we leave the dunes of the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi through the Hamada (black desert) to reach the city of Rissani, optional visit of the donkey parking and its regional market, very authentic and traditional. Then we head north, to Erfoud which is known for fossils; Here we can visit a fossil quarry before continuing with the impressive Todra canyons, known by climbers from all over the world for its impressive walls, Dinner, and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 6: Dades Valley - skoura - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
We leave after breakfast to continue to Marrakech through the route of the Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of Las Rosas and the oasis of Skoura, and Ouarzazate, the capital of cinema. We cross again the High Atlas (2260 high) to get to Marrakech. Hotel accommodation.
Day 7: Marrakech transfer you to the airport.
