Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca–Rabat–Meknes

Stop At: Meknes, Meknes, Meknes-Tafilalet Region

Today we will drive to Fes passing by Rabat and Meknes. We will visit important places in those cities as well as the Roman ruins. Then we continue to Fes where we’ll arrive in the evening and here we stay overnight in a traditional Moroccan riad/hotel.

Day 2: Fes City Tour

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Boulemane Region
In the morning we will spend visiting the medina (the old city) and its alleys. It includes visiting the Jewish Quarter and the Royal Palace, which is the biggest one in the country. Then we will visit the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque – the first university in the world. After lunch, we will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city and you will have a free program. We stay overnight at a local hotel in Fes.

Day 3: Fes–Azrou–Midelt–Ziz Valley–Rissani–Merzouga

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Today we’ll drive towards Ifrane – referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco. We will stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest. Lunch will be in Midelt in a traditional Moroccan restaurant
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
then afterward we’ll travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock and along the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We’ll drive through Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani, and finally, we reach Merzouga. Here we stay in a local hotel near desert dunes.

Day 4: Merzoug–Todra Gorges–Dades Valley

Stop At: Erg Chebbi, Erg Chebbi, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what will may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses.

Stop At: Gargantas del Todra, Tinghir, Tinerhir 45800 Morocco
After breakfast and hot shower in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Boumalne Dades, Boumalne Dades, Souss-Massa-Draa Region
After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy guest house overlooking the Dades Valley with diner and breakfast

Day 5: Dades Valley-Ouarzazate–Ait Ben Hadou–Marrakech

Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa-Draa Region
Leaving Dades Valley to Marrakech in the Morning, we will visit Kasbah Taourirt & Atlas Studio in Ouarzazate and UNESCO protected the site of Ait Ben Haddou., a most impressive Kasbah and well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed there such as the Gladiator
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz Region
Leave Ait Ben Haddou and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizi N Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrive at Marrakech in evening.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz Region
After breakfast in the Riad, you can start exploring Marrakech; «the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city.
