Enter the home of your friendly host and chef, Letizia, located in one of the most picturesque districts of the city. Try some of the most delicious Sicilian specialties cooked as chef's grandmother and mother used to do, using absolutely fresh vegetables and seasonal ingredients that come directly from the nearby local market or from the garden of Letizia's parents.
To celebrate this gourmet experience, bring your favorite bottle of wine. The meal will start with some typical Sicilian Appetizer (olives, the sun dries tomatoes, fish or vegetable balls, it depends on the season). The main course will be pasta with fish (depending on the catch of the day, usual pasta with swordfish, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, raisin, and mint) the second dish will be some breaded and fried anchovies accompanied by a typical Sicilian orange salad. For dessert taste a slice of homemade cake (apple, pistachio or chocolate sponge cake, ecc.) or depending on the season some other typical Sicilian sweet.
