Etna 3000 meters

First destination of the tour will be the Silvestri Craters area at 2.000 meters of altitude. From Rifugio Sapienza you will take a cable car to arrive at 2.500 meters above the sea level. The excursion will continue on board jeep 4×4 to 3.000 meters, in correspondence to the summit craters. At the end of this excursion you are going back to the 2.000 meters, where you will meet our guide again.

After beeing at the 3000m, our gide brings you to a lava cave with torches and helmets to get into the volcano and explaining its origin and historical aspects.

After visiting the lava cave, we will have a break to enjoy a typical Sicilian lunch all together.
