About this activity

The excursion will start with a soft trekking discovering the Sartorius Craters.

You will also visit a volcanic cave using the equipment provided from us (helmets and torches).You will stop at a winery you will enjoy a rustic lunch made with local products (starter and first course) together and you will have tasting of 3 Sicilian wines. It is possible to arrange, upon request, a suitable dish to vegetarians and coeliacs. After lunch, you will move to a village to have other tasting of typical products of Etna.

The excursion will take place in Italian, English, and upon request and availability of the guides also in Spanish and French.

The guide will pick you up close to your hotel (if in the center of Catania) or in a meeting point halfway.

The price includes:
-A professional and passionate naturalistic guide (our guides are geologist, volcanologists, agronomists, etc…)
-Transport service with minibus or jeep (no off road) from Catania, directly from your hotel or from an agreed meeting point

Amazing day out in Etna! Minuel was a terrific tour leader, he knew so much, he was so engaging! He truly made the day that much more memorable! There was a group of 6 of us which was the perfect amount of people - friendly bunch of people. The volcano, the wineries and the water/lake at the end were truly special. Only suggestion make sure you take a swimming costume so you can get into the water. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent guide, Paolo's knowledge mixed with his humor made for a fantastic day! Started the day with a tour of the Etna and then lunch with a wine tasting and tour of the winery. Would recommend this excursion.
