About this activity

One of our expert guides will lead you along a beautiful naturalistic path, most probably on the south slope of Etna, while explaining the origins of our volcano. You will visit some eccentric craters (probably the Monti Silvestri) surrounded by an evocative lunar landscape.You will then visit a volcanic cave using the equipment provided from us (helmets and torches).

You will also have a snack made of tipical sicilian Street Food (Tavola Calda), water and a glass of wine. It is possible to arrange, upon request, a suitable dish to vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs.

The guide will pick you up close to your hotel (if in the centre of Catania) or in a meeting point halfway.

The price includes:
-A professional and passionate naturalistic guide (our guides are geologist, volcanologists, agronomists, etc…)
-Transport service with minibus or jeep (no off road) from Catania, directly from your hotel or from an agreed meeting point
