Day Trip to Bohol from Cebu with Chocolate Hills and Loboc River Cruise
Your Bohol sightseeing tour takes in many sights, including the bronze statue known as the Blood Compact Monument, commemorating the first treaty of friendship between the Spanish and Filipinos. You’ll see the lush foliage of a forest of mahogany trees, prized for their timber, and pass villages surrounded by local nipa palms. Visit Baclayon Church and admire its traditional Spanish colonial architecture. Explore its neighboring museum with your guide to see historical relics dating back to the 16th century!
Then head to the water to board a cruise on the Loboc River, and enjoy an authentic lunch of Filipino specialties served on board the boat, buffet-style. You’ll be serenaded by guitarists playing local folk songs as you dine and glide along the river. If you dare, step on stage and take part in one of this country's favorite pastimes - karaoke! Your guide will also help you spot tiny tarsiers playing on the riverbank – they’re not easy to find, as they’re the world’s smallest primate.
After lunch, take a scenic tour through the island’s interior to Carmen, where you’ll visit the thousand or so rounded hills known as the Chocolate Hills. You’ll have fabulous views over Bohol Island from the Chocolate Hills viewpoint, with free time to browse the stalls clustered here. To remember this magnificent view, get creative and take an off-the-wall snapshot of yourself with the hills.
Your Bohol tour ends with the return ferry ride from Tagbilaran to Cebu and return to your city hotel.

Very good tour. Host was great. Very knowledgable. You squeeze a lot into the day, which is the only reason for four stars versus five. Sometimes you felt rushed to get to the next destination. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again. It was good.
Must do. The Tarsiers, the main thing I wanted to see was first. You really need to see one or have something to give you scale. The as soo.. small, and the eyes are huge for the body. The Chocolate Hills, I see why the name. As our tour guide said because of the lack of rain, and now just starting to rain they are the mint Chocolate Hills. The river cruise excellent, try the cane dancing, great fun. Be prepared for a long day if coming from Cebu. I was ready as I had read this in another review. What would be great would be to have a trip with a overnight in Bohol, then you can see the Dolphis in the morning before the trip. There's so much to see that you get overloaded, maybe it is to make you return.
I LOVE THIS TOUR! The guide was really informative. I loved seeing the Tarsiers and the butterflies. The children singing and dancing along Loboc River was fantastic. Definitely recommend this tour. BUT, I would recommend staying in Bohol because Cebu is awful.
Nice trip. No rush. Many nice spots. Profesional guide with many informations.
Getting to the jetty was great. Pick up was on time and efficient. However, there was a slight confusion at the jetty as the tour company got us confused with another group but later found that we actually have an exclusive tour. The tour guide who picked us up when we got off the ferry was great! She was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. It was a wonderful experience. However, the only set back was when we returned to Cebu on the ferry, the hotel pick up waited at the wrong jetty and we were left waiting for a good 1 hour before we found him - asleep in the car! That was not very nice...
