About this activity

Most of the time we will meet at the start of the cable car.

The most use cable cars in Chamonix are Planpraz and Aiguille du Midi. Both have accessible parking, or are just 5 minutes walk from the Chamonix town center.

We will take the cable car together, walk for 5 minutes to the takeoff site. We will prepare your harness, helmet, and our paraglider, etc. Once everything is ready, we will give you a small count down and in few steps you will be in the air for one of the best experiences of you life !

The flight will last around 20 minutes and the whole experience is between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending of the chosen takeoff site.

Equipment for the flight : paraglider, harness, and helmet.
Pilot with French Licence of Professional Paragliding

Not included

One way lift ticket needs to be purchased at the cash desk before the appointment time.
The price ranges from 13 to 17 euros, depending of the cable car that we use.
If requested, we can provide you videos and pictures of the flight, for an additional price of 30 euros.

Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 2 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability

Dress code :
For your flight, you will need to dress depending on the season and the weather. During summer choose running shoes or hiking boots, and wear a small jacket. During winter, ski pant and warm gloves might be necessary. Feel free to ask us for advice.
Weight restriction :
Normaly, passenger can weight from 15 to 110 kgs. If you your needs are beyond, please let us know and we could work out a solution.
The pilots of ChamAirSafari reserve the right of cancellation if weather conditions are not acceptable to do de flight under perfect secured circumstances.
