About this activity
Itinerary
This Chamonix Zermatt Haute Route requires you to have all day hiking fitness, and capable of maintaining moderate output all day long (7-10hrs). You should be comfortable with your ski technique in intermediate/advanced terrain. There may be times when the Guides need to employ the use of ropes while both skiing up and down. You will be skiing with a pack (~20lbs.) for the duration of the program. If you haven't skied with a pack before, it does take some getting used to. Getting out for some practice before the trip will give you an idea of what to expect and how to adjust your technique.

- Rental of ski touring equipment
- Lunches. These can be purchased in the huts, or in the valley bottom.
- Drinks. In the huts, beer is ~ CHF7 and wine starts at ~ CHF30
- Dinner while lodging in Zermatt or Argentiere
- Gondolas in Chamonix (Aig. Du Midi), Verbier and Zermatt
- Additional lodging or transportation costs due to changes in route for any reason.
