The Olive Oil Experience

About this activity
Session Length
Cooking experience and olive oil tour are 4 hours in duration.You will start at 11:00 am with refreshments and a chat about the cooking and the olive oil use.
The actual cooking starts 11:20 until approximately 13:20 and dine till 14:20.After the lunch we'll have a relaxing and extremely educative olive oil tour from the olive tree to the production in the olive mill and bottling.
Olive oil categories,tasting,and tips on how to use and best store a good extra virgin,are discussed thoroughly.
Participation
Classes are between 6-12 participants.
*Minimum number of participation 6 people.

MONDAY
• Cretan Salad
• Dakos (Barley rusk topped with fresh tomato,myzithra cheese,Terra Creta Extra Virgin Olive Oil and oregano)
• Graviera saganaki with sesame seeds (Fried cheese in Terra Creta Olive Oil)
• Tsigariasto with fried potatoes(Stewed meat in Terra Creta Olive Oil & white wine)
• Kalitsounia with Honey (Cretan Cheese pies fried in Terra Creta Olive Oil)

TUESDAY
• Cretan salad

• Tigania with fried potatoes(Pork sauté in Terra Creta Olive Oil & white wine)
• Halva with raisins and walnuts (Semolina)
