About this activity
Groups will meet at determined starting restaurant/bar, then proceed to two or three more restaurants/bars at roughly 30 minute intervals. All locations are predetermined and handpicked with seating arrangements already made. This allows groups to visit these locations and get a appetizer and drinks in a much more beneficial manner than going on your own to each location. At each location the licensed guide will go over the specialty drinks and what makes the location significant. The licensed guide will also go over the general history of Shem Creek and review its importance both environmentally and commercially. Customers will order drinks and pay separately however complimentary appetizers are served free of charge at each stop.

My wife and I joined 3 other couples for the 5:30 PM your with.Bryan. We visited 3 bars along Shem Creek. The appetizers were adequate except ayy the last stop (the Vickery) where we had to head home before the appetizers were served due to an approaching storm. Bryan was quite knowledgeable about the area and very personable.
Bryan is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Charleston and had a great background on Shem Creek. He also does several other tours in Shem Creek which added a really fun twist. Definitely worth it!
