This fantastic cruise begins boarding at 6:30 pm and cruises from 7-9 on beautiful Charleston Harbor. The Carolina Queen is docked at Charleston City Marina, 17 Lockwood Drive, Charleston, SC. The meal is buffet style and available throughout the cruise. There is no set time for dining or reserved seating. The Carolina Queen is 3 decks with open seating on all 3 and the buffet is set up on the lower deck in the Main Salon. There are dining tables readily available. The band is set up on the mid deck with plenty of room for dancing.
Gary Erwin (aka Shrimp City Slim) is a keyboard player/singer/songwriter based in Charleston, SC. This year, 2018, he is celebrating thirty one years as a full-time professional musician. Shrimp City Slim has released 8 CDs to date and plays throughout the Southeast and overseas. A new CD entitled "Star Marina" was released in February.

First of all it was my 1st time on this cruise and the signage to board the ship needs a bit more clarity. The crew was amazing, very welcoming and informative. The Captain ***** 5-Stars!!!! I enjoyed the band not only did I enjoy the music, but also how they recognized the young dancers on the dance floor (5 years old and under). Now.... let me touch on the negative! I did not enjoy the Buffett at all I am not a pork eater and my chicken was raw!!!! I did enjoy the Tea and Cookie! However, my overall experience...I would do it again (when I am in SC and I would recommend it to travelers! Happy Sailing
We had a great time even through it rained. The music and good was fantastic. It seemed like everyone we talked to had the same feelings. Well worth the money.
