Haunted Walking Tour of Chattanooga

About this activity
Walking ghost tours begin at the Walnut Street Bridge and wind through downtown, ending at the city's most famously spirited spot, the historic Read House Hotel. Different guides include different stops; however, almost all also include the haunted Hunter Museum; the ominous Walnut Street Bridge; and mysterious Underground Chattanooga (the area's most actively haunted location). Our guides are among the best actors and storytellers in the region. However, no one is going to jump out to try to spook you. (We cannot guarantee against touching by an unseen specter, however!)

Many guests have gotten ghost photos, and occasionally some report other activity as well. This is NOT a fake haunted house, but a tour featuring REAL hauntings. Tours are conducted rain or shine, so that guests need not worry about cancellations due to less than ideal weather. Because all stops but one are outside, we DO suggest dressing appropriate to the weather, and wearing comfortable walking shoes. Tours last 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours, and are approximately a mile in length. Chattanooga's free electric shuttle picks up across the street from our ending location until 11:00 every night but Sunday (when it stops at 8:00) and some holidays, so guests can return easily to their cars.
