Chengdu Suburb Cycling - Xinlong Lake, Dragon Kiln, Huanglongxi Ancient Town

Your driver and guide will meet you at your hotel at 08:00 am. and then drive to Xinglong Lake situated about 30 kilometers south of Chengdu city center.
Start cycling around Xinglong Lake
When arriving, you will ride along the lake for about 9 kilometers and enjoy the scenery around.
Explore Tongzhi Pottery Kiln
Then you will continue to ride southward in the direction of Tongzhi Pottery Kiln. It’s built in the late 19th century and is still used today to fire pottery. You may take a visit to the small pottery factory here and learn about the process of pottery making.
Cycle on tranquil and narrow country road
After exploring Tongzhi Pottery Kiln, you will ride on the peaceful winding country road for about 20 kilometers from the pottery kiln to Huanglongxi Ancient Town. This part of the road has no tourists and you will see the authentic rural life and villages in the suburb of Chengdu.
Visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town
When arriving at Huanglongxi, you may walk around for about 40 minutes to explore the 1700-year-old riverside town that was once one of the most prosperous places along the ancient trading route – South China Silk Road.
Return to Chengdu
Then we’ll drive back to Chengdu and you will get back to your hotel between 18:30 to 19:15, depends on the traffic in the city area.
