Half-Day Panda Feeding Experience

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Dujiangyan Panda Base of the Giant Panda Research Center, Shiqiao Village, Qingchengshan Town Dujiangyan city, Chengdu 611830 China

Option A------Feed the panda in the morning
• 7:30-9:00

Hotel pick-up, drive to Dujiangyan panda base.
• 9:00-9:10

Driver will collect the panda feeding fee(136USD/person or 900RMB/person),and help you to check in panda
• 9:10-10:30

Free time on your own to explore the facility, will see adorable giant pandas from baby to adult and red pandas

Dujiangyan panda base is much less visited than Chengdu Panda Breeding Center,you will enjoy secluded and tranquil panda watching
• 10:30-11:00

Return to office where you check, put on outfit, follow the staff to panda enclosure
• 11:00-11:20Panda Feeding Session

Usually，each participants will get 2 slices of carrot or panda cake to feed panda face to face, as soon as the food is finished,the feeding time is over.

(Please note, the feeding time is not very long,within 1 minute)
• 11:20-12:00

Choose 1 of the following activities as below:

1.Guided by panda nutritionist to make panda cake

2.Guided by staff to visit the Panda Science Museum

3.Panda lecture(can be arranged when number of travelers is more than 10 person)

Then ,change the working outfit, receive donation certificate and souvenirs
• 12:00-12:40

Buffet lunch in the staff canteen

After lunch, leave Dujiangyan panda base WHENEVER you finishing sightseeing.

Option B----Feed panda in the afternoon
• Arrive Dujiangyan panda base before 2PM

It takes 1.5h-2h drive from Chengdu downtown.

Please advise your preferred departure time at the time of booking.
• 14:00-14:20

Driver will collect the panda feeding fee(136USD/person or 900RMB/person),and help you to check in.

Put on panda feeding outfit, follow the staff to panda enclosure
• 14:20-14:40 Panda Feeding Session

Free time on your own to explore the facility, will see adorable giant pandas from baby to adult and red pandas

• 16:30-18:00

Enjoy your private comfortable ride back to your hotel in Chengdu

TRIP NOTE:
**Panda feeding (136USD/person or 900RMB/person) are NOT included in the price, local tour operator will help you make reservation and prepay the expense in advance to lock the spot, your driver will represent local operator to collect the expense at your travel date.
**Do you need a guide?

Driver will help you to check in upon arrival and for panda feeding there will be English speaking staff guide you.

However,if you prefer a guide service, please advise.
**The activity of Panda feeding may subject to change according to the actual situation, but do not over concern, it haven't happen yet.
