Hold the Panda & Street Food Walk Tour

Early In the morning our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel with your names in the lobby, and we will drive out of downtown Chengdu, it takes about 1.5 hours to get to Dujiangyan Panda Base. On arrival you are supposed to register for holding the panda activity. Since there is still some time for visiting different enclosures before holding the pandas, so you can walk around and see the adorable animals in different enclosures. As the pandas are morning animals, you may see them quite active, and they are busy eating their food.
Around 10:00am, you are supposed to come back to the office, and the professional panda guide from the panda base will do the briefing about holding panda’s, including the safety notice. Later you will be guided to one enclosure where you may hold the baby panda. The baby panda will be put near you, and you are supposed to sit down near her, holding her arm for pictures. This will be the highlight of your whole trip in China.
After our tour in Panda Base, we will drive to Wenshu Monastery .As Wenshu Monastery is a place where you can not only learn about the Buddhism religion, but also a living quarter for the locals. You will see the buildings with traditional style, elegant tea houses, local snack restaurants, etc.
On arrival,your guide will take you to some of the most popular local snack restaurants,
let you try 4 or 5 different snacks for lunch. After our food tasting, we will take you to have a short walk in the monastery to see the different buildings in the temple. In the Monastery you may see the locals do their praying in the monastery, and the monks practice their afternoon class in one of the halls. Outside the temple it is busy and noisy, once you step into the temple, the world becomes peaceful. After a short visit to the monastery, if you like we may take you to the nearby food market to have a look or drive you back to your hotel, the end of trip.
