One Day Giant Panda Leisure Private Tour in Chengdu

In the early morning, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby and proceed to visit Panda Breeding and Research Center, which is about 6.2 miles (10 kilometers) from downtown Chengdu. This beautifully laid out park is the home to approximately 80 giant pandas and some other rare animals, such as red panda, black-necked crane, white crane, etc. Walking along the well-designed walkways, you'll have a good angle through the open enclosures of giant pandas.

The best time to visit the Panda Breeding and Research Center is the morning when the pandas are most active in the day. Depart from hotel early in the morning, and arrive at the center before 9:00 am, then you could have a chance to see the pandas feeding at around 9:30 am.

After the feeding time, you could choose to visit the Panda Museum and watch a 20-minute video at the Panda Theatre to learn about the research and breeding of the giant pandas. You could also choose to deliver a postcard or other panda souvenir from the Panda Post to yourself or your family and friends. The Panda Post is the only post office who has its own postcode 610088 and post date mark.

Have a Chinese lunch with traditional Sichuan food at the local restaurant. You will then have a leisure afternoon in downtown Chengdu. You will get to visit Chengdu People’s Park, where you will find many locals dancing, doing exercise, playing card or Mahjong...etc in the park. You will also be able to have a cup of tea at a local tea house to get a feel for the regular day-to-day life here.

After that, you will be shown your way around the famous Wide and Narrow Alley, which consists of several ancient streets from both the Ming and Qing Dynasty.
