Private Day Tour: Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Center and Leshan Giant Buddha
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo), No.2435 Lingyun Street, Shizhong District, Leshan 614000 China
At 8:00 am, your private tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby and then head to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda which is a 30-minute ride away from Chengdu city. Pandas are more active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other. You will also have a chance to see those very cute baby pandas as well as documents and pictures of how these pink little mouse-sized things grow to giant black and white chubby pandas of over 100kg (about 220 pounds).
Then take a 2-hour drive to the Leshan Grand Buddha. Upon arrival in Leshan, indulge in a delicious Chinese lunch at a popular local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit Leshan Giant Buddha abducted by UNESCO as the World Heritage site. You may take a boat to enjoy the whole view of Giant Buddha and then enter the park to visit or choose one of them. Facing the river, the Buddha has symmetrical posture beautifully captured in its solemn stillness.
At the end of the tour, the guide and driver will transfer you back to the city and drop you off at the hotel.

Thank you to Bella for the most wonderful day. This tour was amazing but Bella was the best tour guide ever. We would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you Bella!
Excellent trip led by Nancy. Very informative tour. Next time I would choose to hike up the Giant Buddha rather than viewing it from the boat.
