Day 1: Mt.Qingcheng & Dujiangyan Irrigation System

Stop At: Mount Qingcheng, Qingcheng Mountain Town, Chengdu 611844 China
Qingcheng Mountain is the birthplace of Chinese Taoism with a history over 1800 years. Besides temples, this mountain is renowned for its lush forest and quiet environment. It is regarded as a living place for the gods.

Stop At: Dujiangyan Irrigation System, On the Minjiang River at the west of Dujiangyan, Dujiangyan 611830 China
Dujiangyan, an ancient hydro-project, which was built 2300 years ago, and still plays an important role for irrigating in Chengdu Plain even today. Besides the dam, you also can see a traditional garden next to the entrance and some Taoist Temples on the mountains.

Day 2: Volunteer Work at Dujiangyan Panda Base

Stop At: Dujiangyan Panda Base of the Giant Panda Research Center, Shiqiao Village, Qingchengshan Town Dujiangyan city, Chengdu 611830 China
Dujiangyan Panda Base is located at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain,about 60 km west to Chengdu downtown. It is a professional organization specialized in panda rescue and disease prevention center in China, covering an area of 760 acres. You can get a deep understanding of the pandas’ habitats by taking the volunteer work or hold pandas in this panda base.
