Volunteer Day at Dujiangyan Panda Base

Itinerary for Holding Panda:
07:00 meet your guide in the hotel and set out in your private vehicle
08:30 arrive at Dujiangyan Panda Center and check in at program office to confirm your appointment
09:00 led by your professional guide around the center to see pandas of different age in different enclosures, have a better understanding before you hold one
10:20 return to the program office and get ready for the holding section
For around 20 seconds you sit next to a young panda and have pictures taken while you pet her, If you travel alone, the staff helps you take picture
11:00 Get your honorable Donation Certificate from the center and souvenirs / excursion finished and drive back to Chengdu
Itinerary for Both Holding panda & Volunteer Program:
07:00 meet your guide in the hotel and set out in your private vehicle
08:30 arrive at Dujiangyan Panda Center and check in at program office to confirm your appointment
09:00 volunteer program begins including preparing the bamboo, cleaning panda garden, picking the panda waste and so on
10:20 return to the program office and get ready for the holding section
For around 20 seconds you sit next to a young panda and have pictures taken while you pet her, If you travel alone, the staff helps you take picture
11:00 continue Volunteer project and feed the panda face to face
12:00 buffet lunch in the staff dining hall
13:00 see panda documentary
14:00 prepare the bamboo again, clean panda garden and their waste, feed them again
15:00 make a unique panda cake which is the most popular food for them
15:30 get your honorable Donation Certificate from the center and souvenirs / excursion finished and drive back to Chengdu
Holding panda(1800rmb/person), Volunteer Program (700rmb/person) are NOT included. Please specify in special requirement field at time of booking that which one you participate, thus we can secure the availability with the center. Once you meet your guide please pay cash in full amount.
