430PM- Bharatanatyam is a unique ancient art from the temples of Tamil Nadu. Our instructor will introduce this dance form through mythical stories and spiritual ideas. Guests will learn the language, concepts, and history of this dance form.

This is followed by a demonstration of how an eclectic mix of actions, footwork and hand gestures can represent anything from everyday objects and animals to emotions. Eye movements convey the meaning facial expressions capture the essence of the narrative. It will be a fascinating experience to see how a story can be told through a dance form using expressions and emotions.
