Visit some of the most popular commercial areas and shops of the city with Fathima. The tour will begin at T. Nagar, mostly known for traditional hand woven silk sarees, gold jewellery, marble sculptures, gemstones and handbags. After that, head to Nugambakkam to explore the numerous local ethnic-wear showrooms and handicraft shops. Take a break for some refreshments and continue the tour at Express Avenue, Chennai’s largest shopping mall that houses most of the biggest Indian and international clothing brands. After a short walk through the wide roads of Anna Salai, end the trip at Parry’s Corner, a wholesale market for household items, leather products and many other things.
Tip: Wear comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated.
