Itinerary
Day 1: MAE KAM PONG
Stop At: 78/1 Moo3 Mae Kampong Village, Huay Keaw, Mae On Thailand
On the way to the village, stops can be made at stone garden, Teen Tok Royal Project and Pha Num Lord Cliff. Upon arrival at the village, meet chief of the village, who will introduce you to your host and your guide. The village chief will brief you about the village and the activities. The Host will take you to his/her house.
After lunch, take a village tour, observing the making of local hats, bamboo furniture making, bamboo handicraft, herbal products and the process of old tea leaves fermenting. A visit to tea and coffee plantations, the 7- level waterfall, local school and temple are also included. Return to home and at leisure until dinner. Dinner will be held at the community’s centre. During dinner, the welcoming ceremony, welcoming dance together with local music (using local instruments) will be performed.
Overnight in the host’s house.

Day 2: MAE KAM PONG – CHIANG MAI
Stop At: 78/1 Moo3 Mae Kampong Village, Huay Keaw, Mae On Thailand
The next morning, you will be taken to the temple to offer alms to the monks and return home for breakfast. After breakfast, return to Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel.

- This tour is operated on private basis only with English-speaking guide.
- Transfers are only operated within the downtown Chiang Mai areas and restricted to main hotels only. Regions outside the central business district such as Mae Rim, Hang Dong, Doi Saket, Mae Taeng and Chiang Mai International Airport are excluded.
- We will do all possible to comply with any dietary requirements during this excursion; it may not always be possible to confirm your wishes in advance based on the choice of local restaurant and at the homestay.
- The accommodation used during this tour is simple accommodation with basic amenities. This may include no air-conditioning (fan only), lack of Wi-Fi and/or warm water.
- On this tour, the room at the host family is equipped with mattress, mosquito net and a fan. The sanitary is simple but good. You don’t need to take along much more than toilet articles, towel and clothes for the duration of the stay.
- During the cold season (December and January) we recommend to add a fleece and long pants as temperatures can drop significantly. Due to the location of our overnight address and aligned with the concept of this soft-adventure.
- Due to the nature of this tour, we regret to inform you that this excursion is not suitable for wheelchair users.
- Part of this excursion includes walking over unpaved roads and paths. This may not suit guests with walking issues. Bear in mind that such paths may turn slippery / muddy after a rain shower. We suggest wearing good walking shoes, preferred closed shoes, when booking this tour.
- We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
- Due to the absence of ATM machines and credit cards payment portals, particularly on islands and inside nature reserves, we highly recommend to bring sufficient cash with you.
- Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
- We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the excursion in case of unfavorable weather conditions or situations where we are forced to make alterations to guarantee the safety of our guests.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 48 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 48 hours may be on request.
