Day 1: CHIANG MAI – PHRAO

Stop At: Bua Thong Waterfalls (Nam Phu Chet Si), Moo 8 Mae Ho Phra, Mae Taeng 50150 Thailand
The first stop in Phrao is at Buatong Waterfall, is one of the famous and attractive tourist destinations in Chiang Mai province. The falls are fed by a small stream which ripples its way down a 100-metre slope covered in limestone accretions. Like most waterfalls, it is cool and pleasant but unlike most waterfalls the surface of the limestone waterfall is not slippery. In addition to wonderful waterfalls, the Rainbow Spring pond where the sunlight creates a natural rainbow effect above the pond

Stop At: Baan Tong Luang, Samoeng Road, Chiang Mai 50180 Thailand
After visit, continue the trip to Baan Luang. Upon the arrival at the village, the visitors will get to meet the chief of the village, who will introduce them to their hosts and their guides. The village chief will brief the guests about the village and the activities. Hosts will take their guests to their houses. A home host lunch at the village. After lunch, guests will take a village tour by bicycle (or local vehicle, E-Tax car), visit the folk-life museum, the way of life in the community and explore the village. Dinner will be hold at the home’s host or community’s center.

Day 2: PHRAO – MAE TAENG – CHIANG MAI

Stop At: Mae Taeng District Office, San Mahaphon, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai 50150, Thailand
After the morning session, the guests will get to learn how to cook with the traditional home cooked recipes in an authentic Northern Thai flavors unlike the standard dishes offered in commercial cooking classes.

Enjoy a delicious home cooked meal before returning back to Chiang Mai town.

Stop At: Wat Ban Den, Mae Taeng 50150 Thailand
On the way back, stop to visit a beautiful local temple, Wat Baan Den, in Mae Taeng. Return to Chiang Mai.

Transfers are only operated within the downtown Chiang Mai areas and restricted to main hotels only. Regions outside the central business district such as Mae Rim, Hang Dong, Doi Saket, Mae Taeng and Chiang Mai International Airport are excluded and supplementary charges apply.
We regret that are unable to provide pick-up and drop-off transfer services from and to apartment complexes, local guest houses or private apartments. We advise you kindly to head on your own arrangement to the nearest hotel inside the downtown Chiang Mai area.
We will do all possible to comply with any dietary requirements during this excursion; it may not always be possible to confirm your wishes in advance based on the choice of local restaurant.
The accommodation used during this tour is simple accommodation with basic amenities. This may include no air-conditioning (fan only), lack of Wi-Fi and/or warm water. Due to the location of our overnight address and aligned with the concept of this soft-adventure experience.
Due to the nature of this tour, we regret to inform you that this excursion is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Part of this excursion includes walking over unpaved roads and paths. This may not suit guests with walking issues. Bear in mind that such paths may turn slippery / muddy after a rain shower. We suggest wearing good walking shoes, preferred closed shoes, when booking this tour.
It is of the greatest importance to follow the guide’s instructions during this event in paying respect to the local customs. This includes approaching the monks, taking photographs and obeying the unwritten rules and regulations of this deeply-spiritual encounter.
We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
Due to the absence of ATM machines and credit cards payment portals, particularly on islands and inside nature reserves, we highly recommend to bring sufficient cash with you.
Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 48 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 48 hours may be on request.
