DAY 1: ESSENCE OF CHIANG MAI - FULL DAY LANNA TEMPLE RELICS (PRIVATE)
Spend a day exploring the highlights of Chiang Mai, including a stop at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Waroros Market, Wat Srisuphan and Wat Chedi Luang - all while reducing your carbon footprint by travelling aboard a traditional Thai rickshaw.
DAY 2: CHIANG MAI - FULL DAY WHITE WATER RAFTING AT MAE TAENG
Embark from Chiang Mai and head north to Mae Taeng, stopping to smell the flowers at an orchid farm along the way. Visit a quaint village before enjoying a delicious local lunch with seasonal fruit for dessert. Head to a rafting camp on the banks of the Mae Taeng River and prepare for the ride of your life, a thrilling adventure down the river’s rippling white waters. The adventure concludes with time to relax and refresh along the riverbanks before the scenic drive back to Chiang Mai.
DAY 3: CHIANG MAI - FULL DAY FLIGHT OF THE GIBBONS TREETOP ADVENTURE (JOIN-IN)
This day, head out to the jungles of Northern Thailand. Located in a 1500-year-old rainforest next to the quaint village of Mae Kampong, the Flight of the Gibbon is your chance to zipline over the forest canopy. Chiang Mai’s Flight of the Gibbon has a total of 30 stations with over seven kilometers of cables in total; one of the single ‘flights’ is 800 meters, making it the longest of its type in the whole of Asia.
After the forest fun, enjoy a delicious lunch including steamed chicken in banana leaves and black rice followed by tea tasting. On the way back, take some time to stop off at an eco-mountain village, and cool off in a refreshing hillside waterfall before arriving back in Chiang Mai in the afternoon.
When booking this excursion you have the choice between 2 rounds for pick-up. The normal pick-up time will be around 08.30 AM depending on your hotel location, but you can also decide to book the sunrise tour with pick-up time around 06.30 AM. The sunrise tour will include following visit to a local artisan village
DAY 4: CHIANG MAI - HALF DAY COLOURS OF CHIANG MAI BY BIKE
Discover Chiang Mai’s hidden corners on two wheels! Along this off-the-beaten-path journey, explore some of the lesser-known cultural highlights the city has to offer - including local temples, schools and markets.
