Stop At: Grasshopper Adventures - Chiang Mai Bike Tours, 87 Bumrungburi Rd. Prasing Subdistrict, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand

Meet at the Grasshopper Adventures Chiang Mai Shop near Chiang Mai Gate at 9:45 am. The bike tour will depart at 10:00 am sharp. After a quick bicycle fitting and briefing the bike tour is off.

Pass By: Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, Huai Kaew Road Amphoe Pakkret, Nonthaburi, Doi Suthep 11120 Thailand

From our bike tour shop in Chiang Mai’s old city, we cycle west through the city of Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai University towards Doi Suthep eventually biking along wooded lanes at the foot of Doi Suthep.

Stop At: Huay Tung Tao Lake, Don Kaeo 50180 Thailand

Pedaling along dedicated bike lanes, the tour enters a bicycle park with tree covered paths. Here is where we begin the gradual climb up to the Tueng Tao Creek Reservoir. After a cycling around the reservoir, we stop for a lakeside lunch. If you brought a swimming suit, then you can jump in the lake too.

Back at the Shop - The bike tour ends in the late afternoon. All bikers get a cold drink at the Grasshopper Shop before saying farewell.

Bike back to Chiang Mai - Biking down the mountain you get a chance to use your brakes a bit. Cycling east to the banks of the Ping River, pedaling through rice fields and vegetable gardens while making our way back to old city of Chiang Mai, cycling on back lanes and alleyways.
