Itinerary
Pick up from hotel in Chiang Mai city between 08.00 - 08.30am and drop off about 06.15pm.
- Trekking for 2 hours (1 hour go, 1 hour back)
- Take you White Water Rafting
- Lunch time
- Drive for 20 minutes to our elephant camp
- Change into a Mahout Style Karen uniform
- Learn about Elephants behaviours in natural surroundings. NO RIDING !!
- Learn and practice how to make herbal medicine
- Observing our beautiful rescued elephants as they roam throughout our sanctuary
- Observing when they are bathe in a natural way, as they would in the wild
- Back to Chiang Mai City

- Change of Clothes
- Insect Repellent
We don’t use chains, hooks or any other cruelty tactics like that, we don’t need too because our elephant family are allowed to roam free.
This project is not only to make you happy with those domesticated elephants in a truly beautiful nature environment, but it is also giving a good chance to support the hill tribes and local Thai farmers who live in villages nearby our elephant sanctuary, we buy some agricultural products from them.
