Day 1: Visit temples and relax at hot springs

Stop At: Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara, 103 Phra Pok Klao Road Phra Singh, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand
Wat Chedi Luang is beautiful in the morning sun. The temple houses several relics of highly respected monks, this temple was built in the early fifteenth century. It was damaged by the great earthquake in the sixteenth century. The remains, the lower two-thirds, are 60 m high and 44 m wide. The temple is very impressive!

Originally built between 1495 and 1515, Wat Sri Suphan (วัดศรีสุพรรณ) has been destroyed and rebuilt over the centuries. Bounds show the original building. The temple is located in the goldsmith district of Chiang Mai. The ubosot is covered with silver plates, inside and outside.

San Kampheang hot springs (น้ำพุ ร้อน สันกำแพง) deliver water at 105 ° C, an ideal temperature for cooking an egg.

Several pools are built in the busiest part, you can sit and soak your feet. The water temperature is 40 to 50 ° C depending on the location. Behind these basins, a pool allows children to bathe entirely. Further, we can see two geysers whose access is prohibited to the public.

Day 2: Trek, cultures and waterfall

Walk on the Doi Inthanon. Doi Inthanon (ดอยอินทนนท์) is the highest mountain in Thailand.

Trek 2 hours and visit a small Karen village .

Stop At: Twin Royal Stupas (Phra Maha Dhatu Nabha Metaneedol and Nabhapol Bhumisiri, Doi Inthanon National Park, Chom Thong Thailand
Visit of the Chedi's of the King and the Queen. The chedi were built by the Thai Royal Air Force (in 1987 and 1992).

The chedi darker Phra Mahathat Chedi Nophamethanidol is for the king and the light blue or lilac Phra Mahathat Chedi Noppholbhumsiri is for the queen.

Wachirathan flows down a granite escarpment on the way up to the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand. Although segmented, its falls have a cumulative height of 80 meters. It's one of several waterfalls in the area.

Visit a Hmong tribe and the local market.

The Hmongs is one of the most iconic tribes in northern Thailand. Fleeing the political turmoil and violence of the Qing Dynasty in their native China, the Hmongs began a long migration in the 18th century, which will lead them to first in Vietnam, then in Thailand.
