Stop At: Mae Ping River, Chiang Mai Thailand
Prepare to be stunned by the lush, tropical beauty of Northern Thailand on this exciting day trip to the countryside for Chiang Mai kayaking. Just a short drive north lies the Si Lanna National Park; we will pick you up from your hotel or guest house and enjoy the scenery together as we head to the headwaters of Ping River in the Mae Taeng District.
The area was declared a National Park in 1989, allowing it to remain pristine. After arrival at the Ping River, we will begin the safety and kayak training demonstration before hopping in to begin the adventure.
The next 4-5 hours will be the stuff of dreams. We will cruise by wildlife and waterfalls and admire caves from a distance. Drifting past local villages, we’ll catch a glimpse of life in rural Thailand while canoeing at a comfortable pace.
