Farmer for a Day and Karen Home Host Cooking

Duration: 08:00 am – 05:00 pm

Depart from Chiang Mai 9.30 am and visit Karen village (Baan Thungluang, Maewang district). Visit Local market, meet your Karen home host, learn and talk about their history and culture with the Karen villagers, go to the Karen organic farm, join their work in the farm, pick the vegetables & other ingredients for your lunch cooking as Karen style. Enjoy cooking and eating with Karen beautiful dishes which are cooked in the bamboo stick as the traditional local style. Relax with a cup of tea or coffee at the Karen bamboo hut before going to work in the farm with the villagers again. After that, take the bamboo rafting along the Maewang River and back to your hotel about 05.00 pm.

Hat, Sunscreen, Sandals/Flip Flops, Clothes for change as you may get muddy or wet, Towel, Shoes for walking, Bug Repellent, Camera.
