Full Day - Elephant’s Friend Day offers visitors the opportunity to get to know each of the remarkable elephants and gain a special understanding of their daily lives and behaviors.
Activities: Visit Elephant Poo Poo Paper making, Walk and Observing Elephant in a natural way.
Pick up from hotel in Chiangmai city between 08.30-09.00am
Baan Chang Elephant Park is a unique, small Thai family-run eco-Park, not a chain or part of a large tourist organization. We offer our visitors customized programs as we want you to enjoy the best possible experience with these wonderful animals and learn more about them in a relaxed and absorbing way. We encourage our visitors to engage safely with our elephants and develop a relationship with these gentle giants. Give love and Care for our Elephants with NO RIDING activity.
When you arrive at Our Park, the guides will give you a basic overview of the tour, how our elephant welfare programs take place and some information about the elephants.
You can also bring a camera with you but if you’re worried about taking photos with the elephants you need not worry. Baanchang Elephant Park offers a photography service at no extra charge. The photographer will take photos of you throughout the day and upload the photos to Our Facebook page, which you can download.
Animal welfare is paramount at Baan Chang Elephant Park. We consider that responsible and ethical elephant tourism will help to save the Asian elephant, but requires the highest level of care and husbandry. We are AGAINST unnatural and abusive practices and strive constantly to improve animal welfare and to promote education with the standard of “Elephant Conservation in Action”
We are determined to provide our elephants with the highest quality of life possible and our strong belief in human-elephant interaction is what makes Baan Chang Elephant Park so special. Our visitors are able to have a life-enhancing experience with these magnificent animals and learn about them in a natural and relaxed environment.
Important : The elephant must always come first and we select our mahouts (elephant handlers) very carefully. It is our mission to be a role model for education and high animal welfare.
