Wat Ban Den temple or Wat Bandensali Si Mueang Kaen by its full name. It is a huge buddhist complex composed of several halls and stupas. Its colorful statues and immensity have made its reputation. Formerly Wat Ribunrueang. In 1804, Kruba Thueang Natsilo, a former abbot,
had the temple renovated with the intention of turning it into a beautiful place of worship to attract more people to teach them religion. The main library, drum tower, Wihan Sao Inthakhin, sanctuary of the sacred pillar, Kuti in Lanna style teak wood, a monks house, the Wihan and the stupa. Chiang Dao Cave Chiang Mai is one of the top-rated tourist attractions in Thailand. Chiang Dao Cave features beautiful crystal formations which have formed due to dripping water. The air inside the caves is most of the times cool but during some seasons it can be extremely humid inside. You can visit the two main caves namely Tham Phra Nawn and Tham Seua Dao, they have adequate lighting arrangement. The caves contain a numerous sacred Buddha images. But never go into the un-illuminated caverns without a guide as there are several unmarked drops. A word of advice to all Chiang Dao Cave visitors uses the handrails, never remove anything from the cave, watch your head and keep children close to you all the times
