About this activity
We will pick you up from the hotel in Chiang Mai. We will go on a comfortable minibus 3 hours to the city Tha Ton. You will have time for lunch. Next we will go by boat along the mountain river Kok to Chiang Rai.
Boats are reasonably comfortable and the long-tails all come with a roof and life-jackets.
There are some minor rapids - you may get splashed - and the sun reflects off the water in the low-lying boats so you may well get sunburnt even if you do manage...
