Our first stop is the Umbrella Making Center. Here we see how locals hand make and paint these colorful umbrellas. You can have a hand painted umbrella made, or the painters can even decorate your phone or clothing. We spend plenty of time here to watch these local artists at work!

We continue exploring Thai handicrafts with a visits to a mango wood carving village in Borsang. We spend time here watching the locals make their handicrafts maybe even do some shopping!

Stop At: Wat Phra Pan (Wat Phranon Mee Pukha), Mae Pu Kha, San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai 50130, Thailand

We pedal on to Wat Phranon Mee Pukha and spend time exploring the Wat. This temple is known for its unique design and bright colors. Make sure to bring your camera!

Stop At: Wat Pa Daeng, San Kamphaeng, San Kamphaeng District, Chiang Mai 50130, Thailand

Pedaling along the countryside, we come to Wat Pa Daeng nestled in the trees well off the tourist track. Don’t be surprised when we’re the only tourists there! We make a stop to explore this temple, once home to forest dwelling monks.

After a long day of cycling, we rest our legs at Wat Mae Hoi Ngoen. Here we relax and take a look around before pedaling through the roads at the base of a mountain range and arrive to natural hot springs.

Winding through the mountain side roads, we find ourselves at Sankhampaeng hot springs. We can take a dip in these healing natural mineral springs, or purchase eggs to boil in the bubbly water. We allow plenty of time to enjoy this authentic Thai experience and we will enjoy a Thai lunch here too!
