Private Half-day Soap Carving Class in Chiang Mai

Itinerary

Following a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai to our workshop studio, you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and light refreshments to begin your private half-day soap carving experience.

Start your session by learning some background knowledge of Thai carving arts, the use of proper carving tools and techniques. After a demonstration into the techniques used, it’s your chance to try your hand at the carving of your own. With instruction from us, you will learn to carve local herbal soaps in various techniques and patterns. Workshop size is limited to four people to ensure that you can spend your time unhurriedly working with your carvings, receiving individualized advice and guidance along the way.

After the first session, we will have a short break where you can enjoy Thai local fruits or snacks, and after that, you can continue to learn new carving pattern and painting technique.

When your carving class is finished, you will get your carving pieces home with you. You will also get leftover soap from the carved pieces in a package for reuse. At the end of the workshop, you will receive a drop-off back at your hotel to conclude your private half-day soap carving experience.
