What Phra That Chedi Luang consists of an impressive chedi, originally built in 1411. It reached a height of over 85 meters before it was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. It now reach a height of only 60 meters The temple also contains the city pillar.

Wat Suan Dok is suited in the west of old Chiang Mai. it's consist of small white memorial chedi containing the remains honoring Thai royal family of Chiang Mai.

Good tour overall. Our guide was really knowledgeable and shared a lot of background and a lot of details. The downside was that his English wasn't great. We were able to communicate and we learned a lot, but it took a lot of effort to understand all of the details. We had a private tour, with just me, my wife, the guide and a driver. That was really nice.

Waste of money. Our guide was disinterested and not informative. She was more interested in trying to take us to factories where we would buy things instead of bringing us to the temples and educating us about the city.
