Stop At: Bai Orchid and Butterfly Farm, 3/1 Moo 7 Rimtai Maerim, Chiang Mai 50180 Thailand

You are picked up from your place of accommodation in chiang mai at around 8.30 am.
Board minivan and drive to Orchid and Butterfly farm where a lot of beautiful orchids are displayed.
You will walk along rows of scented orchids that were luscious, very well kept and organized. The flowers range from small bunches of orchids to large ones. This is a sight to behold. Our guide will take you through it all from start to finish of the growing process with acres of beautiful orchids to see.
You will move to the next section where you will be surrounded by many colorful and delightful butterflies.

Our guide will explain each stage of fascinating process from poo collection to rinsing to final product assembly. You are encouraged to pull up a stool, roll up your sleeves and join together with our talented artisans and guides and participate in our head-turning process. You even get to touch the poop which doesn't stink and it's mainly fibers and make a small piece of paper, super cool!
It was really interesting to see how animal poop can be washed and recycled into lovely craft paper.

Stop At: Hilltribe Villages, Chiang Mai Thailand

Then let’s meet main ethnic groups that make up the hill tribes of Chiang Mai — Karen, Akha, Palong, Yao, Lisu, Hmong, Lahu including Padaung Longneck who are best known for the many brass rings that the women wear around their neck. They have migrated to Northern Thailand from other parts of the Asian interior over the years, yet they all retain much of their traditional way of life. Your guide will translate your questions to the villagers so you can communicate with them.
While you are walking through the thatched roof huts, you will meet hill tribe women wearing the traditional Hill tribe costumes, displaying for sale a wide variety of Hill Tribe embroidery, cloth, jewelry and many other items.

Take in the natural landscapes as you relax on a scenic 1 hour drive to the Chiang Dao cave. The cave is located in a larger temple area with multiple buildings and venues which I actually enjoyed more than the cave. Have lunch at your own expense there.
Let’s start exploring cave. This is relatively big cave with large, spacy halls and long pathes. Winding your way through caverns, you will see the Buddhist shrines, natural limestone features, and bat colonies. So amazing!
There are a lot of stalactites and stalagnates, some of them looks like seal, lotus, lion etc. Also there is a temple inside, so you can find many Buddha in the cave.
