Interesting and very enjoyable tour. Franky our guide had a good caring rapport with the hill tribe. Very informative and relaxed which made it a memorable experience. We would recommend.
Sadly the guide had no interest in making this a great experience for us or teaching us about their history and day in the life of the tribe. He was bored, checking the box and rushed. The temple was amazing but just go on your own as they have guides on site if you are interested. It will save you tons of money and frustration.
Our tour and guide were excellent! We started with the Hilltribe Village, and rather than taking us to the one with tons of tourists, he took us further up the mountain to a village that felt largely untouched. Very few tourists, and such an interesting visit. The Temple was just perfect as well. The right amount of time at both, and a wonderful Chiang Mai tour. Thank you!
A stunning temple with great views over the plain and Siem Reap. The high hill village was interesting and a good cup of coffee locally grown was had in a small café.
Highly recommend.
This was a private tour which we enjoyed very much. The guide and drivers were all knowledgeable and professional. We rode up in a van then switched to a pickup due to the condition of the roads to the Hilltribe village. Walking in the village itself was ok. But, the scenery was very nice and the Arabica coffee that we had at a little coffee shop was very tasty. We rode the pickup back down until we could pick up the van to take us to the temple. When we reached the temple we opted to ride the tram up to the temple. I believe there were 306 steps. Recommend tram up and walk down if the queue is not long. The temple, itself, was very nice and, again, the scenery was beautiful.
