The "People's Palace" as it is officially known was Chicago's first permanent Library that opened in 1897. Today, in addition to its many cultural offerings, it is home to the World' largest Tiffany Dome!

Daley Center in the heart of Chicago's Loop sits on Daley Plaza and home to Chicago's iconic Picasso Sculpture commissioned in 1967. It is famous for the car crash in the hysterical "Blues Brothers" film that opened in 1980.

Stop At: Macy's on State Street, 111 N State St, Chicago, IL 60602-1659

Macy's purchased Chicago's much loved hometown department store - Marshall Fields in 2006. The history of Marshall Field and his footprint relaive to the retail industry is inimitable. Today, the store is home to the World's largest Tiffany Ceiling with over 1.6 million pieces of hand-made, hand-place Tiffany glass.

The Chicago Pedway system or Pedestrian Walkway is the city's underground transportation system for commuters during our harsh winter season - its heated! It covers over 5 miles of urban terrain in the heart of Chicago's Loop.

Our guide was knowledgeable and engaged the group in his presentation. Our group consisted of people from other countries and locals, and ages ranging from teenagers to senior citizens. There was something for everyone.
