About this activity
Visit: Skydeck Chicago - Willis Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive Entrance on Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60606-7147

Marvel at Chicago from an unparalleled viewpoint during this exciting Skydeck experience. Located in Willis Tower, formerly Sears Tower, the Skydeck offers spectacular sweeping vistas of Chicago and beyond from the 103rd floor. Walk out onto the Ledge, a glass box-like balcony that extends 4.3 feet (1.3 meters) from the building, and experience an unconventional view--straight-down! Admire the lofty views of top Chicago attractions, like Wrigley Field, the Navy Pier and Millennium Park, all from a breathtaking height of 1,353 feet (412.4 meters). On a clear day, you can see up to 50 miles (80.5 km) out! It’s also the perfect vantage point for great sunset and twinkling nightscape views. Bring your camera or treat yourself to a professional photo available at the gift shop.

You can also explore several exhibits designed for the whole family, like interactive digital floor displays, touch-screen activities, and scavenger hunts that not only highlight Chicago's iconic landmark, but also celebrate the Windy City's sports, architecture, pop culture, history, food, music, and people. Challenge yourself with a Chicago trivia game, compare the heights of the tallest structures in the world, and see just how many of your bodies it would take to reach the height of Willis Tower.

This was my 3rd time there but the first time going out on the ledge. It was a great experience and amazing view of the city. A must do when visiting Chicago.

I am so glad that I was able to experience the Skydeck! It was a bit eerie yet very thrilling to actually step on the glass deck....

It was not a skip the line tour after we showed them our tickets.Viator should be responsible for false advertising.

Loved this. The hub and I went there early on my bday. I strongly suggest getting there as soon as they open. There was still a decent amount of ppl there, but it wasn't super crazy. The staff is helpful. I suggest buying your tickets on viator to save time. The hub and I just showed our prepaid ticket and went right on in. They take a photo of before and then once you get on the ledge. Look up as that's where their camera take the pic. You are given 5-10 minutes to take your own photo. Again the staff is friendly and patient and didn't get rowdy with guests who took a little longer. This tour is definitely worth it! Again, get there early!!!

Friendly staff. Great and scary experience standing on the ledge and seeing the cars look so tiny. Would definitely do it again.

Get there early to avoid the queues. Enjoy the ledge as it tips you out over the Chicago skyline. Must do stop for tourists.

Long queues in general line, poor assistance from staff— recommend Fast Track especially if you have mobility issues or back problems

I went on a Thursday afternoon almost 4pm and it was not that crowded, in fact we did not have to wait for an elevator at all. The top was not that crowded, the only wait was for the line for the Ledge but it moved quickly.

Over hyped and thus too crowded.A marketing feat. Can be dispensed with.Save your money and time wasted especially because of the waiting time because of the crowd.
