CHIRSTCHURCH - KAIKOURA Depart Christchurch bright and early, arrive in Kaikoura in time to go whale watching, or swim with dolphins. Spend the evening chilling on the beach, sampling some of the best seafood in New Zealand. KAIKOURA - ABEL TASMAN Head north and take in the last of the dramatic Kaikoura coastline. It’s a spectacular drive and we stop for a close look at the seals that lay about on the rocks. ABEL TASMAN - WESTPORT Spend the morning kayaking out to Split Apple Rock and along the golden bays near Kaiteriteri, looking out for the local marine wildlife. This afternoon stop at the Nelson Lakes to get your legendary wharf jumping shot, before hitting surf town Westport. WESTPORT - LAKE MAHINAPUA Journey down spectacular State Highway 6, that stretches 435 kilometres along the rugged Tasman shoreline. Highlights include the Cape Foulwind seal colony walk, rugged beaches, and the Punakaiki Pancake Rocks. LAKE MAHINAPUA - FRANZ JOSEF Continue along the beautiful West Coast of New Zealand through forests and past the towering Southern Alps to glacier country and Franz Josef. FREE DAY Take a free day to experience the unbelievable views of the glacier and Alps with hikes, scenic helicopter flights and skydiving. FRANZ JOSEF - WANAKA Start out early to catch the perfect mirror reflection of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps on Lake Matheson. Then into Mount Aspiring National Park, arriving into the awe-inspiring Wanaka. WANAKA - QUEENSTOWN Get your brain working at Puzzling World and its on to the world’s first commercial bungy site - the Kawarau Bridge. On arrival in Queenstown head down to the spectacular waterfront before it’s out on the town exploring Queenstown’s nightlife with all the crew! MILFORD SOUND DAY TRIP Recently ranked as the world's most beautiful place, Milford Sound is a must-do for those visiting New Zealand's South Island. The Milford Explorer departs Queenstown and stops at the picturesque Te Anau township on the lake before heading through the Homer Tunnel into Milford Sound. Once there, you will go on an unforgettable one and a half hour boat cruise through the Milford Sound exploring soaring peaks, towering waterfalls and New Zealand nature at its best. QUEENSTOWN - LAKE TEKAPO Head through the Lindis Pass and get your cameras ready because this is ‘Lord of the Rings’ territory. Stop to admire Mt Cook at Lake Pukaki, then through to Lake Tekapo with its snow-capped Alps and clear starry skies. LAKE TEKAPO - CHRISTCHURCH A straight run into Christchurch, our largest city in the South Island and the 3rd largest in New Zealand.
